Mette Pettersen, age 31
She has been the team leader, but is know 5 months pregnant so she will not participate until late this season. Mette has her athletic background from football and hockey. Mette has always been the adventurous type.. among others she spent 10 weeks biking the North Sea cycling rout solo. She started doing Multisport in year 2004. She has participated in all competitions in Norway and some in Sweeden since and have several good results. Mettes best discipline is long distant running.
Gry Haugsnes, age 31
Background from handball, biking and randonee skiing. Started doing Multisport in 2004 and has like Mette joined all competitions in Norway/Sweeden. Finished 4th in Hemsedal ACG Challenge 2005 in the mix class. Gry performs better under worse conditions. When everybody else is tired of broken equipment she has her strength. Grys best discipline is mountain biking and kayak.
Siri Anne Hagmann, age 28
Rookie to Multisport this season. Siri Anne has her background from orienteering and Nordic skiing with several good results. Besides being extremely friendly and including her orienteering skills will be very important to the team. Siri Anne is not afraid of a challenge and joined her first mulitsport training biking single treks in the dark without ever tried MTB biking before. . Siri Annes best discipline is orienteering.
Tommy Aslaksen, age 31
The most experienced biker on the team, background from race biking. He work as a professional trainer and is very competent regarding how to train correct, what to eat, when to rest ++. Tommy started doing Multisport in 2005 and has several good results on mix team with Gry. He is a quite experienced climber and randonee skier. Tommys best discipline is definitely in-line skating. He's not tall but has strong legs..
Flemming Kristiansen, age 30
Our most experienced long distance runner. He has completed several 100km races and marathons. If you look at him you don't immediately think he is a long distance runner. He's tall and strong. Flemming has one speed and that is maximum. He has an enormous will and fighting spirit. Flemming has done Multisport since 2004, but still have a few races to try in Scandinavia. Flemmings best discipline in mountain biking and running.
Anders Kløvstad, age 32
Anders grew up running up and down mountains and has never stopped. He never thought it was his thing to compete but when he discovered Multisport in 2005 he new this was the thing to do. Anders is a good orienteerer and skier (both Nordic and randonee). His best discipline is orienteering and for the time being in-line skating is his worse.. Anders is fortunately for the team very social and we still haven't seen him whit out a smile. I guess we will during the season
Håkon Bugge, age 45
Our team all-rounder.. during the winter season he is busy doing races with his Alaska dogs. He participates both in short and long (close to 12 hours) races. Håkon is a good biker and runner. Håkon is easy to be around and has a strong team spirit. Håkons best discipline is biking and in-line skating.
Kjetil Watne, age 41
The teams best and most experienced Nordic skier and as Siri Anne have very good orienteering skills. He has preformed well on national and international level in Ski- Orienteering. Kjetil is also new to the team. His best discipline is everything that demands a more than good endurance. His orienteering skills will be of high value to the team.
Raymond Henriksen, age 45
The ever young Ray as he is called.. Has competed in mountain biking, running and skiing for at least 20 years and looks forward to doing longer and harder races. Raymond is positive, easy to be around and a good listener.. He learned how to paddle a canoe in less than an hour. Raymonds best discipline is mountain biking and running.
