1. and 11. place in "Harstadfjellrennet"
Gry and tommy participated in a randonee competition near the town of Molde in Norway. Randonee skiing is still unusual to compete in, but several athletes and other joined a very nice event in Molde.
Mount Harstad is 1004 meter high and the race started from the fjord and we went all the way to the summit. The weather was good and the view amacing.
This competition was the first randonee race for both Tommy and Gry. Unfortunately Tommy broke his shoulder 7 weeks ago so he had to take it easy. The best men spent approximately 1 hour to the top. Total altitude of 1000 meters and a distance of 5,5- 6 km. It was a former professional biker who had the best time to the top. Tommy, the only one armed competitor, used 1 hour and 15 minutes to the top. Not bad! Gry used 1 hour and 22 minutes. They both did well down hill, but particularly Tommy will ski faster once his injury has healed.

Among 26 men Tommy got an 11. place. Gry won the ladies class, and would have been nr. 13 amoung the men.

Hopefully there will be arranged several competitions like this in Norway in the future.

Both Tommy and Gry used equipment form Berghaus during the race. Blad Pants, Serenity Jacket and Zephyr Windshirt all satisfyed our needs. Thanks!
